The House of Godunov is the current ruling family of the Barony of Verskaya and vassal of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. They are descendants of Raevir travellers of the ancient hinterlands before acting as mercenaries for an age. In most recent years, Jaroslav Vladimirovich Godunov, patriarch at the time, settled the house atlas in the confined walls of Haense.
The Godunovs are most notable for their strong military presence, particularly during the reigns of Karl III of Haense and Georg I of Haense.
