The House of Alstreim is the ruling family of the Principality of Merryweather, a vassal of the Apostolic Kingdom of Aaun. The house was founded in the mid 16th century by Wilhelm von Alstreim. His son Jan Sigmar would bring the House to nobility, as a knight in service to the Empire of Renatus. The Alstreims would become rulers of Sutica until the mid 19th century, when the Sutican Commonwealth was succeeded by the Principality of Savoy.
