Tobias I (Common: Tobias I; High Imperial: Tovenius I), born as Oliver Blackwell, was High Pontiff between 1546 and 1552. Tobias I is oft regarded as one of the worst High Pontiffs in history, his blundering in both diplomatic and clerical affairs, as well as the stagnation of the Church under his reign, marking the end of Church regrowth called the Everardian Period.
