Godfrey Laurene Ashford de Lewes (19th of the Grand Harvest, 1890), was the second-born son of Hughes Laurent Ashford de Savoie-Lewes and Anna Clementina of Aldersberg. He was born to a family of 5 siblings and would be the Duke-consort of Valwyck through his marriage to Roslin Baruch. His tenure as Duke would be later known as unremarkable and uninspiring to the citizens of Haense.

Life in Haense

Upon his arrival to the Hanseti courts, the young Godfrey would make well at meeting many of the people who he would one day consider to be his peers of the realm, as his upcoming nuptials to the Duchess of Valwyck spread through the courts of Aaun and Haense. The two would be seen together at numerous events leading up to their wedding, a grand event that was attended by only one of Godfrey's siblings, Leufroy. After their marriage, Godfrey would have trouble keeping to Haense and found the environment cold and unwelcoming to many, causing him to spend most of his time in Aaun rather than his own estate with his family. Despite this, they were able to sire five children together during their marriage, and his time in Haense before Godfrey would completely vanish from the public eye and only seen henceforth in Aaun with his brother, Fernand in their own family estate. Ultimately this would spark many rumors surrounding the marriage between the Duke and Duchess as it seemed Godfrey's wife would grow closer to other members of the Haense court rather than her absent husband.
