By marriage to the Prince of Rubern, Vladrick I, she became Princess-Consort. The princess was once promised to Emperor John VII of Oren. Under the minority of her cousin, Wilhelm, Ester served as Princess-Regent of her homeland from 1741 onwards, solidifying the divide between herself and her son Marius I of Rubern.
