Emma Henrietta (Common: Emma) also known as Emma II, of the House Ludovar, served as the fifth Countess of Otistadt and the twelfth Parriarch of the Karovic cadet House descended from King Stephen I of Haense. She was the eldest daughter of Countess Adele of Otistadt and Matyas of Alban.

Early life

Emma was born as the first child of Adele and Matyas Ludovar. She spend most of her time with her father in the library, devouring the books one by one. Once her little sisters were born, Emma spend a lot of time reading books to them and taking them horseriding, wanting to expand all of their horizons to outside of Haense.

Growing up, Emma was a very shy and imaginative girl. Wanting her to socialise and grow her confidence, her mother send her out to a few parties to try and make friends. Emma herself stood in the corner most of the time, keeping track of the time and when it was finally time for her to go home. At one of these parties she met three slightly older girls; Elisa Baruch, Manon de Falstaf and Mischa of Florentine, with whom she quickly became friends. The girls, fueled by their imagination, reformed the Valtakoengzem of the Faedom. Here, the then 3-year old Emma took on the role of the Pink Faery Princess and Pristine Peacemaker, a job she took incredibly serious. There were several rivalries between the Valtakoengzem and the children's kingdom of Hoonseti-Rooska, one of them ending in the Faedom girls being egged. Eventually Emma started drifting away from the Valtakoengzem as she grew in age.

The relationship between Emma and her mother had been a strained one in her youth. To Emma, it seemed that Adele was not understanding her at all, only wanting to do business and not understanding Emma's world full of fantasy. This led to many disagreements in the Ricksburg keep, that almost always ended by Emma locking herself in her room. As Emma grew up and started seeing the world more realistically, their relationship improved.

Emma also grew close to a girl by the name Niamh Baruch, whom quickly grew to be her best friend.

Character and personality

As a child Emma was quite shy and anxious, wanting nothing more than to go to the woods and read a book. She grew more sociable as she got older, taking in as much knowledge as she could before it was her time as Countess. She loved to ride horses, her favorite one being named Justice, and to spend time with her children. In her spare time Emma continued to read and ride her horse, as well as taking up a passion in bettering the health of all Haeseni citizens, both mental and physical.
