Savoyardic Collapse

The Duchy of Redclyf is an absolute hereditary monarchical Duchy primarily made up of Highlanders, while there are Norlanders in Redclyf, a fair majority of the population has worked in different Mercenary groups prior to Redclyf's independence. They follow the Pagan Religion of the Lady of the Lake. The Duchy is located on the southern continent of Almaris within the former lands of the Principality of Savoy, and achieved independence following the dissolving of Savoy per the edict of Renata I, Princess of Savoy. Following their unexpected independence, the Duchy immediately set out to establish itself as a strong independent state in order to protect its future and survival.
