Clan de Astrea is the former ruling family of the Duchy of Elysium in the Kingdom of Norland. Founded as a cadet branch of House Ashford de Savoie on the Axiosian Kingdom of Oren the current clan traveled to the Kingdom of Norland as the Holy Orenian Empire threatened to erradicate the whole of the family. Eventually, when the threat from Oren was lessened, and under the leadership of Eugeo de Astrea, the family and their followers established an independent settlement of New Elysium, leaving the Kingdom of Norland.
