History
-The clan is well known for its deep roots in the Orcs, dating back to the earliest ages of the Orcs. Gorkil was the second son of Krug, the first orc to ever live. Gorkil himself was known for his strength and valor, and for his tactics in battle. The clan itself was organized by Angbad, son of Gorkil. Gorkils have fought in every Orcish war and have had leaders in every era.
Gorkils generally represent the "prime Orc", symbolizing all strengths of Orcs as well as all weaknesses of Orcs.The Gorkils suffer from severe bloodlust in battle, often going on blind, bloody, rage-filled frenzies, feeling little pain and little exhaustion.
The Gorkil clan is one of the most well known orc clans in existence, maintaining a prominent role in orcish society throughout history. The clan itself has a reputation for brutality, with known habits of mutilating themselves before battle and dealing with enemies in an especially violent manner, even for orcs. This stems from their belief that the bloodlust they have been cursed with can be used as a weapon, and as such they embrace it in combat much more willingly than other uruks, triggering their bloodrage themselves, disregarding what negative effects it could potentially have on their allies. Their chosen mounts, the massive desert boars of Aegis, reflect this, having a natural aura of anger and fury only rivaled by the Braduk rhinos. Having such fury contained within them results in them being quite difficult to control, and as a result, these creatures, carried from realm to realm, frequently escape and mate in the wild, becoming naturally occurring wildlife within whatever region the orcs are living in. Despite their mindset of embracing their curse, the Gorkils still maintain rational thought, especially when it comes to strategy and leadership, with several orcish military commanders and even Rexes originating from the clan, the most famous of which being Mogroka’Gorkil.
Outstanding Features
- These Orcs are amongst the most formidable in battle, their triggering of their own bloodlust before battle culminating into Orcs of the clan Gorkil being some of the most formidable fighters to ever emerge from the Uzg. Beyond this, their use of tactics in Orcish wars have placed them above most clans, allowing more Gorkils to rise to Rexdom than any other clan in history. Their frequent triggering of their bloodlust leaves them more compulsive than many of their kin, and easy to anger.

The Gorkil possess their own mount in the desert, the war boar. The war boar is bred for its strength, speed, and power.
The Gorkil do not worship elemental spirits, they choose to worship their ancestors. Because of this, it is much more likely to see a Gorkil lutauman rather than a Gorkil elementalist.
The Gorkil scar and self mutilate before battle to show their strength, as well as to spark their bloodlust.
The Gorkil have dark green skin and wine red eyes, every cub born a Gorkil possesses these traits.
The Gorkil have a hatred for magic other than shamanism, born in their wars with the Undead in Aegis.
