Prelude
Prior to the initiation of the Battle, a warband under the command of Gaspard had received word of a party being hosted by the Municipality of Ephesius, an Imperial Elven settlement. The hatred of Imperial Elves, combined with the want to kick off the war with an Urguani victory, prompted Gaspard to rally his warband and make for Ephesius.
