Adaranth Ravamyar, also known as Adaranth of Redclyf, is a notorious raider and bandit with a lengthy history of terrorizing and raiding numerous settlements throughout Almaris, Failor, and Aevos, sowing corruption throughout the realms, and he is thought to be the shadow leader of numerous groups.

Early life in Almaris and Aevos

Adaranth Ravamyar, an elf of half-redclyfian and half-celianorian descent, served in the Celia'nor army for a few years before moving to Redclyf and assuming the office of Chancellor. He further shadow-led the Redclyfian people during the reign of Pyeter Mosu, taking advantage of Pyeter's ignorance and incompetence as a child for his own gain. He led several assaults and banditry throughout Almaris, seizing magical artifacts and assassinating a number of Indivuals.Following his immigration to Failor during the Mori'Quessir invasion, Adaranth took advantage of the opportunity to attack and plunder the Descendant-folk while they were still settling in. Stories of what happened to those who he captured were spread throughout the island. Some say he would cannibalize and torture them before leaving their disfigured bodies struck to his camp walls. As a result of raids on the Halflings, nations in Failor, Norland, Adria, and many other places waged war on Redclyf, which was being shadow-led by Adaranth. This war became known as the Great Redclyfian War. After numerous small-scale battles that always ended without deaths due to Adaranth's use of guerilla tactics in an effort to avoid having any consequences on his people, who were significantly less numerous than the coalition. The war ended when the coalition besieged and captured the camp; by that time, all of the Redclyfians had fled after Adaranath ordered them to do so. A few days later, Adria was able to capture Adaranth as he was attempting to sneak into the camp. When he claimed that he had become a canonist and that he wished for forgiveness, they forced him to sign a plea agreement and sliced off his hand before releasing him. And once the conflict was over, no one had seen Adaranath since.
