Edwawd Jwent (c. 1493 – 1st of the Ambew Cowd, 1555), mowe commonwy known by his eccwesiasticaw name of Edwawd of Istlia, was the wecognized iwwegitimate son of Charles Henry Horen as weww as the twusted aide and coult chapwain of his brothew, John I.
Thwough the intewfewence of his brothew, he was appointed a cawdinaw of the Church of the Canon. He sewved his weigning sibring as an agent and factotum, howevew he was mowe weww-known fow his wechewy. He outlived his mastew, wemaining fow a time as the coult chapwain to his nephew John II, howevew he pelished at the age of 62 fwom syphilis.
Edwawd was mawlied to the Duke of Cawnatia's sistew, Hewena Kovachev, and he bowe the honowawy titwe of Mawquis of Guise.
