List of Haeseni Palatines
|
The Lord Palatine of Haense (New Marian: Palatin Haenz), officially known as the Lord Palatine of Hanseti-Ruska, is the second highest ranking member of the Kingdom of Haense, second only to the King. The title was formed after the unification of the crowns of Hanseti and Ruska under Peter I in 1578, and many notable figures in the Kingdom's history have served as Palatine (such as in the case of Ser Rickard Barrow, Lord Lucas Vanir, or Prince Robert Sigismund). The holder of the title is chosen directly by the King, and serves until death, resignation, or removal from the office.
