Thomas Edward Staunton-Baden is a former Count and Privy Councillor of the Holy Orenian Empire, who served as High Magistrate to Emperor Peter. He secured a Baden-Horen bond by the marriage of his sister, Philippa, to Peter II's brother, Prince Philip. He was the last Count of Trier.
Biography
Early Life
Thomas Baden was born to Prince Frederick Staunton-Baden and Amina Kharadeen in the Kingdom of Courland. He was born a mere year after the end of the Coalition War. Initially, he lived with the rest of his family in Alexandria, but after his father was granted the County of Trier, he spent the rest of his childhood in tutoring in Trier.
Since his father held positions of Advisor and Arch-Chancellor, it left him little time to take care of Trier. Because of this, Thomas had occasionally been acting Count from the ages of 13 to 21. After the de Savin coup in 1617, Thomas inherited Trier from his father. This was short-lived, and the castle was taken in the Siege of Trier.
Later Life
Thomas, after the de Savin Coup and the fall of Trier, fled to the Holy Orenian Empire. Soon after his arrival to Marna, he was appointed the office of High Magistrate.
