Amelia of Lewes (born Amelia Paulina Varoche, 19 Godfrey’s Triumph, 1892) was the daughter of Sigismond, Count of Varoche and Ipera Falstaff. Around her twentieth year, her father was beheaded in the Adrian Rebellion, thus causing her to flee from the Duchy. She wed Fernand of Virdain in 1928, holding the title Baroness of Lewes until Fernand’s abdication in 1961.
