High Imperial (High Imperial: Lingua Imperium Alta), also known as Flexio (High Imperial: Lingua Flexina), is the language of the Canonist Church, and is believed to be the language of the Aenguls and Daemons. It is a difficult language to master and is only spoken by a privileged minority, and is very rarely employed in day-to-day use, having been supplanted almost entirely by Common, which is believed to be distantly derived from it.
It is roughly analogous to real-life Latin.
