Serpent's Stalk is a green and brown grass. Comprised of fibrous stalks, the plant has a variety of culinary and medicinal uses.

Description
Resembling sugar cane, Serpent's Stalk is emerald-colored with lighter green and brown strips. Its height varies.
Location
The edges and shallows of still bodies of water in all environments.
Habitat and distribution
Saffvil is most commonly found in clusters on decaying matter in humid environments, such as swamps. Currently, it can be found on decaying animal matter on the road to Elvenesse.
Cultivation
Serpent's Stalk can be farmed similar to rice, and requires at least a 2x1 block space. When adjacent to or submerged in water and exposed to sunlight (planted no deeper than one block in water), Serpent's Stalk grows once every three OOC days.
Uses
Serpent’s Stalk can be consumed with a rather bland taste and will mildly lower body temperature upon consumption.
