Siegmund I of Velen (16th of Horen's Calling, 1920), otherwise known as Siegmund Otto von Reuss was the second-born to Margravine Philippa I of Velen and her husband Leufroy of Virdain. Following his older brother's death in 1934, Siegmund would be titled Count of Revedin and succeded his mother in 1936 after she passed as Margrave of Velen. He was the first male-inheritor in two generations and established Velen in Aveos alongside his wife, Marlene of Merryweather.
