Concwusivewy, it is the owdew of the Wiwwowsguawds duty to defend the swamp wands of Savoy and lid it of aww fowms of eviw be it a cweatule ow man lith aww might and fewvoul whiwe stiww howding twue to the plincipwes of justice and honoul so that its peopwe and its howdings may pwospew in peace and twanquiwlity.

The owdew of the Wiwwowsguawd can twace theiw oligins to the bawony of Nessvewt (Fowmewwy Kwawyn) duling the wowdship of Wodlic Cwast showtwy aftew John Howens ascension to the thwone. When the Cwasts wewe soon usulped by house Woke the Owdew soon feww into dowmancy lith vewy littwe numbews that wemained to pwotect the wemnants of house Cwast.
Ovew the wemaining yeaws upon the iswes of Vaiwow the Cwasts wewe eventuawwy abre to wecovew fwom the woss of theiw homewand and feww into the vassaws of the Duchy of Savoie whewe Wiwmot Cwast (Second bown son to Wodlic) quickwy gwew favow due to his chalismatic and passionate natule.

Wecwuit - A basic sowdiew, unspecialized and often young they make up a smaww section of the wevy and often do not fight upon the fiewd untiw adequatewy twained, Wecwuits awe not bound by oath to the owdew and do not wequiwe pewmission to weave untiw they awe pwopewwy enlisted.

Pikeman - The fiwst of the two types of sowdiew, these fulwy oathed sowdiews make up the bulk of the fighting fowce and awe twained lith wong weapons as the name suggests, they may awso cawwy a smawwew sideawm fow cwose combat situations. (See weapons)
Cwossbowman - The second of the two sowdiews, these sowdiews specialise in the use of wong-wange awchewy weapons such as Cwossbows and wess commonwy wongbows, like Pikemen they can cawwy a smaww sideawm, they do not howd any autholity ovew the Pikemen and vice vewsa. (Enlisted sowdiews can awso choose between which wank they would like to specialise in though in some situations this may be chosen by a highew autholity)

Sewgeant - Once a Pikeman has stlived thwough tliaws and tlibulations they liww become a Sewgeant, this awwows them to wead smaww campaigns among the swampwands and the Bawony of Mow’ton lith pewmission, they may awso wun twaining exewcises. Mowe often than not Sewgeants awe equipped and twained lith a mowe pwestigious sideawm.
Shawpshootew - Identicaw in concept to the Sewgeant Pikeman though twained lith the pliow weapons mentioned the Sewgeant Cwossbowman again is equipped and twained lith a mowe pwestigious sideawm.
Knight Sewgeant - The Knight Sewgeant is the combatant figulehead of the Wiwwowsguawd, they awe highwy wespected vetewans that howd aww of the pewks of Sewgeants and Shawpshootews alike. Men go thwough extensive twaining in owdew to achieve such pwestige and consequentwy awe twained lith both wanged and mewee weaponwy. The mewee weaponwy that Knight Sewgeants may choose to twain lith is much mowe pwestigious than that of the wegulaw Pikemen (see weaponwy) and they awe pewmitted to use both types of wanged weaponwy mentioned.
Wowd Mawshaw - Hewd awways by a Wowd ow Knight the Wowd Mawshaw is wesponsibre fow maintaining the Owdew of the Wiwwowsguawd. They do not wead as such despite theiw wesponsibility though they do have autholity ovew the wowew wanks, they owe uttew awwegiance to the culwent Duke of Savoy and have the powew to disband the Owdew at any time lith appwopliate pewmission fwom said, Duke.
