The Second Usurper's War, also called the War of Reconquest, the War of Oisinite Revenge, or the Rozanian-Sedanian War was a war between the exiled Rozanians and the Principality of Sedan. The Rozanians have sought to return to the old lands of the Rozanian Kingdom. As Sedan rules over the former Rozanian lands, it was the decision of Pretender-King Armitage I to declare war on Sedan to reclaim the old lands and destroy Joannesport. Following several defeats at the hands of Sedanian forces and suffering logistical issues, Prince-Commander Aleksy retreats from Almaris.

• 10th-15th of the Deep Cold, 111 S.A. - Siege of Joannesport - Sedanian-Haeseni Victory
• 13th of the Deep Cold, 112 S.A. - Assault on Joannesport - Sedanian Victory

Timeline

• 110th year of the Second Age
  • Prince Aleksy Roza, second son of Prince Armitage I, lands on Almaris with a large Rozanian army
  • King Armitage I of Rozania declares war on the Principality of Sedan

• 111th year of the Second Age
  • A large force of Rozanians attempts to take the capital of Joannesport by surprise, sparking the Siege of Joannesport. After several hours of bloody fighting, the Sedanians and their allies repel the Rozanian assault.

• 112th year of the Second Age
  • Prince Aleksy sends a small force of Rozanians to attempt to capture Prince Frederick of Sedan, sparking the Assault on Joannesport. The Sedanians yet again repel the Rozanians, marking it as a Sedanian Victory
  • After the failed assault, a man named Chadvik is promoted for his valor despite the defeat, and is knighted and promoted to a commander of the Rozanian Army. Ser Chadvik then marches towards Joannesport to attempt to draw Sedan and their allies into a proper field battle. Sedan resupplies and prepares to meet them on the field, led by Prince Frederick himself.

• 113th year of the Second Age
  • Suffering logistical issues, the Rozanian forces are unable to meet the Sedanians on the field. This causes a huge embarrassment for Prince Aleksy, forcing him to concede the war effort and retreat from Almaris.
  • The war concludes with a Sedanian victory, yet Joannesport is abandoned years later.
