Savoyardic Collapse

The Viceroyalty of Hyspia, also called Hyspia or sometimes New Hyspia, is an absolute hereditary monarchy inhabited almost completely by Hyspian Farfolk or converted Hyspian Elves. Unlike a handful of its neighbors, Hyspia remains faithful to the Church of the Canon as its official religion. The Viceroyalty was founded by Cesar I, Viceroy of Hyspia in the year 78 S.A. on the continent of Almaris. With the permission of High Pontiff Tylos II, the Hyspians settled the city of Niseep, which was a former Savoyard city left to the Church after the death of its former Count. The High Pontiff granted the Hyspians the city, and the settlers chose to keep the name of the city to honor the former Savoyard inhabitants.
