The Pillars of Rosius is an ideology or philosophy made by Louis Joseph de Rosius, aiming to create a base of ideas for the Auvergnians to prosper within the lands of Haute-Epine. The philosophy aims for a way of life that is exclusive to anyone else but Auvergnians and focuses on national pride, militarism and absolute faith.

Pillar of Faith

The Pillar of Faith are the six main beliefs in regards to the Church and their jurisdiction in the lands of the Auvergnians.

  • Belief in the One GOD, follow the Church in its endeavors and accept the High Pontiff as His vicar in this world.”
  • The one who tries to imitate GOD must face death.
  • Serve your sovereign at all costs for he has been crowned by the Grace of GOD.
  • They who harm the clergy must be condemned to life in the dungeons.
  • They who sin must confess, and those whose sins can not be forgiven by Man must face justice by the Church itself.
  • Those who disbelieve must be kept a close eye on, question them on the knowledge about our faith and on that of the Holy Scrolls. Then, surely an answer will tell their intention.

Pillar of Politics

The Pillar of Politics are the nine beliefs in regards to the nationalist political thinking of the Auvergnian citizens and to pride in their heritage.

  • Nationalism is what keeps the pride of one’s ancestry, nation and sovereign intact.”
  • Nationalism can serve as a powerful unifying force, bringing people together under a common identity and shared goals.
  • Auvergnians are known for their pride in their identity. They are true to their heritage and continue to bestow the norms and values to the generations after them.
  • Reject your national identity as an Auvergnian, your ancestors resting in the Seven Skies will turn their back on you.
  • Defend the people by all means necessary; whether that will be through the sword and the shedding of blood, or through mere words.
  • The patriotism of one is proven through the acts of dedication to his nation, people and sovereign.
  • Within your own lands, speak your native tongue, in others their lands - speak in a commonly understood tongue.
  • Do not trust or promote Sanoists.
  • Those who promote an ideology that forms a danger to the people living in the said region, must be confined.

Pillar of Nobility

The Pillar of Nobility are the five main beliefs about what it means to be of noble blood.

  • Those who are born into nobility must honor the ones who they are to succeed.”
  • Represent your noble kin with dignity, any misstep in the wrong direction can lead to a bad reputation amongst others.
  • Keep your legacy secured.
  • Listen to those who are superior in title or rank, they are to guide us collectively to a better future.
  • Those of noble blood must be capable of leadership and not be inept of it.
  • Those who are born into nobility must honor the ones who they are to succeed.

Pillar of Militarism

The Pillar of Militarism are the five beliefs held by the people of Haute-Epine in regards to the military uses of the land.

  • Those who live within the lands of Haute-Epine must learn to wield the sword for the defense of their people.
  • When called upon, they must serve in battle.
  • Experience is the best teacher, therefore; to engage in battles is the best way to learn of one’s enemy in future endeavors.
  • Do not lie a hand on an unarmed woman, child or elderly. Only apply the sword to those who form an immediate threat to you or your brothers in-arms. The idea of militarism is to protect those whom you conquer and to use it aggressively against those who threaten you only.
  • Every noble within the lands of Haute-Epine must create a levy to be called on should the Margrave be threatened. A strong militia is vital.
