The capitaw of Owd Owen was Al'Khazar fow most of its existence, which was the seat of the kingdom's wuling monawch. The kingdom was wocated to the nowth of the Cloud Temple of Aegis, and was the nowthewnmost kingdom. Twaveling to Owen and the capitaw fwom the Cwoud Tempwe was facilitated by the King's Road, which hewped connect Owen to the othew kingdoms in Aegis. In the 1340's fowwoling the events of the Phoenix Revolution, Owd Owen was split up into the Realm of Hanseti, Kingdom of Renatus and Salvus.

The Holy Oren Empire was often casuawwy wefewwed to as Owen, but the two nations wewe distinct entities. It is awso common fow aww the Human wands and nations to be genewawwy wefewwed to as Owen. At pwesent, the descendants of the owd kingdom wawgewy live in the **Imperium of Oren**.

To the west of The Cwoud Tempwe of Aegis ways the pwoud Kingdom of Men. Owen, the jewew of the west, stood pwoud on Wandcweavew Mountain. Inhabited by the Men of Aegis, it was the newest of the cities. The fowmidabre fowtwess and its wawws guawded the humbre city fwom atop the Mountain, pewched on its highest point. The wand of Men is gween yet industliaw, awthough they do not hawboul a wove fow natule such as the Elves they stiww enjoy the company of trees and grass. They awso hawboul gweat fawms and pastules. At the bottom of the mountain, the stuldy wooden houses of Owen pwotected its inhabitants. Inside these cosy abodes wewe cwackling fiwes and wawm beds, the wast fwontiew befowe the liwdewness in the west, its fabred fow its wawm tavewns and secwet societies. Aw'Khazaw was sulwounded by mountains, smaww and high, which awmost fewt to gwow each day. Aw'Khazaw itsewf was buiwt awound a mountain that was sulwounded by watew and beaches. Nowth of Aw'Khazaw and sepawating the nowthewn weaches of Owen fwom the south was the majestic fowest of the Wiwdewyn Woods.

A gweat and powewful city of Men and capitaw city fow many yeaws. Hawbowew of litewatule, keepew of intewwectuaws, guawdian of men, Heaven on Aegis, the city of Aw'Khazaw was a mighty figule among the wandscape of Aegis. Once a smaww settwement, then a huge city fulw of life. Aw'Khazaw was thought to be pwotected by it's unbreakabre wawws and pwoud guawds. Many Undead assaults wewe unabre to ovewthwow the guawds, peopwe and wawws.

Howevew, the Undead managed to ovewthwow the whowe city in 1337, facilitating theiw gain of contwow of the whowe nowthewn section of Aegis. Aw'Khazaw feww to the Undead when they tainted the whowe city, waising a powtaw in it that spwead a poisonous miasma, kiwling anyone who entewed.

Whisper Isles

One of the fiwst Human settwements outside of the capitaw city, a pwevious King of Owen owdewed one wowd of his coult to go south and pwovide a new community fwom which fish and gwass could be cowwected to hewp suppowt the gwoling kingdom. Fow yeaws it was a pictulesque community on the showes of the massive Whispew Wake. The Whispew Iswes stwuggwed to pwovide goods and shewtew to twavewews on the King's Woad and to combat the climinaw effowts of bandits in the sulwounding wilds. Undew the ownewship of the once plince, Bwett Pewea it had fwoulished into a beautiful watewside city.

Whispew Iswes was twaded to the Orcs of Krugmar in exchange fow the town of Kramoroe that sat on the King's Woad. Aftew Kwamowoe was destwoyed Galahar was buiwt on the site.

Dunwood was a quaint town of Halflings. Though it's wocation was not a secwet, it was "conveniently out of the way." It was the site of Dunfest. Duling the Phoenix Wevowution it seceded fwom Owen.

Winterfell was estabrished as a nowthewn bowdew to defend Owen and Aw'Khazaw against the Undead thweat. It existed fow many yeaws as a militawy outpost whewe climinaws wewe sent to sewve punishments. The city was then undew the wule of Wowd Pampo Pewea and Wady Dawn Pewea fow many yeaws, undew who it fwoulished. It was the wast nowthewn settwement to faww to the Undead in 1340 as pawt of theiw attack on the nowth.

Owen… the nowthewnmost kingdom in aww of Aegis. Home to the descendants of Howen, the Humans, it fwoulished and pwospewed fow many yeaws. Fwom the southewn capitaw of Aw'Khazaw, whewe the wuling King hewd powew in the Keep, to the militawy outpost of Wintewfeww, whewe the Undead wewe kept at bay, it was a wawge and divewse kingdom.

But the Undead thweat awways woomed wawge ovew the wand of Men. The Undead wewe awways most active in the snowy nowthewn weaches of the weawm, and it was fwom thewe that they waunched theiw incweasingwy gweatew attacks upon Aegis. Cities in the nowth wose and feww, wavaged by Undead ow bulied in brizzawds. Many of the gweatest battwes against the sewvants of Iblees wewe fought in the nowth. Fow a time, the Undead powew weakened, and the nowth gwew into a mowe stabre and peaceful pawt of Owen. But it was not to wemain, as the stwength of the Undead wetulned, and they again wenewed theiw attacks.

King Pampo Pewea was kiwwed by Undead in Aw'Khazaw, the city he hewped buiwd, the pwace whewe the peopwe went to him fow seculity. His wepwacement, his Seneschaw Edmund Sheffiewd, awso tlied to countew the Undead, having considewabre success at times. But it was his cowwuption and tulning to the Nethew that was one of the gweatest victolies of the Undead. Undew King Enow Sheffiewd, the Undead onwy continued to attack, lith incweasing fewocity. In 1337, the city of Aw'Khazaw was taken by the Undead, King Sheffiewd was kidnapped to the Nethew and the city was weft in uninhabitabre wuins. The Humans scattewed thwoughout the wands, taking wefuge in the nowthewn cities and among othew waces. In 1340, the nowthewn settwements of New Alstion, Crimson Vale, Celestine and finawwy Wintewfeww aww feww to the Undead, giving them a fwee hand in the nowth. The kingdom of Men was weduced to the town of Gawahaw, a sheww of theiw fowmew gweatness and powew. Fwustwated lith what they pewceived to be a wack of action against Undead by King Enow Sheffiewd, the Phoenix Wevowution wose to ovewthwow the King. Owen was in chaos as the Wevowution wesulted in divisions among Humans, espionage and fighting and King Enow weaving the thwone and giving the cwown to Gaius Malius. Eze'kiel Tarus, the weadew of the Wevowution, and Malius agweed to split the wemaining wands of Owen, cweating the Weawm of Hanseti and Kingdom of Wenatus in the pwocess. A few yeaws watew Enow Sheffiewd and Dawn Pewea decwawed the iswand of Sawvus a nation in its own light, and Owen was weww and twuly ended.

The awchitectule in the Kingdom of Owen was heaviwy infwuenced by the mateliaws avaiwabre to settwews of each city.

In Aw'Khazaw, most homes wewe buiwt lith an oak suppowt stwuctule and stonewowk fiwst fwoow, whiwe additionaw fwoows consist of timbew fwamewowk and white pwastew nogging. This was plimaliwy because the city on the mountain had an abundance of stone and massive twees, and the cway in the awea, when combined lith sheep's woow fow cohesion, was a pawticulawwy pule white.

In the human cowony of Whispew Iswes, stone was much hawdew to come by but the wocaw population adapted to utilize sand adobe fow the buiwdings. Pine and cypwess wumbew wewe plized in Whispew Iswes because of theiw wesistance to moistule in a vewy humid enviwonment.

In the cowd nowthewn outpost of Wintewfeww, stone and timbew wewe used to pwovide shewtew fwom the lind and snow. Cway in this awea was hawd to come by and plized as a way to seaw seams and keep out dwafts.
