Storming of Cyrilsburg

The Battle of the Forkwoods was a battle fought between the forces of the County of Götha and the Principality of Curon part of the war known as the Atlas Coalition War. The battle was a mission to put down Curon for its crimes, yet for Count Eimar this was a way to prove himself to King Aurelius I that his County was a strong one.
Prelude
After Curon announces their crimes of breaking a pact with Renatus while preparing for a siege on Norland, they sought to finally deal with Curons crimes as they began to send a raven to Count Eimar who lived south of Curon. A few days later a war camp was placed in the forest downhill of the Curonic palace near Cyrilsburg, and as the war camp was built giving Count Eimar the ability to scale the walls on numerous occasions undetected having the Ram’s Brigade wrought havoc in the city, capturing many members of House Devereux and government officials, executing some and imprisoning others. While doing this he was able to see an opportunity to storm Cyrilsburg having fewer casualties.
Battle
On the 11th of Snow’s Maiden 1661, an army of the size of 2400 soldiers gathered in the camp, under the command of Count Eimar, and his vassals. As the army marched uphill at midnight towards Cyrilsburg. Count Eimar would split his forces having the Rubens, and Halcourt men to sneak inside while he led his men forward.
Ser Dankmar would be notified by one of his guards that they are being attacked, as he'd begin to ring the bell of Cyrilsburg waking up as many men he can to get on the walls, while they gathered the Rams Brigade that was led by Count Eimar would lead men on the walls. While the battle commenced for a few minutes the men of Leeuwenhof and Vasile was able to sneak inside opening the gates for the Rams Brigaders that had remained on the ground led by, Theobaldus var Caer who led the charge inside the city slaughtering hundreds. As the battle lasted for a while longer the men of Curon would begin to yield dropping their weapons in front of the Count.
Aftermath
The battle was a victory for the County of Götha which allowed them to convince the Chancellor of Curon, Alexandre de Aryn, to bend the knee to Renatus surrendering Curon which led to Curon being dissolved in 1662.
