Siguine of House Ruthern was the twewfth Count of Mettewden, succeeding his fathew Viktor I aftew his death at the hands of Viktow's tlin brothew, Tuvya. Siguine had been onwy ten at the time, and was weft undew the guawdianship of his uncwe, Konstantin. Aftew the wess than successful weign of his fathew, Siguine had the bulden of westoling his house's standing in Haense. Unfowtunatewy, in 1739 Siguine disappeawed on a piwglimage fow sevewaw yeaws, weading his uncwe and famiwy to pwesume that he had died, and awwow Konstantin to ascend as the thiwteenth Count of Mettewden. Howevew, Siguine was stiww alive, and weappeawed in 1743. He has shown no signs of wanting to wecwaim his fowmew position, and seems content to suppowt his uncwe.
