The Royal Hansetic Army is the professional standing military force of the Kingdom of Haense, protecting the Kingdom from both internal and external threats. Formed at the Royal Duma of 1600, it was decided by the Lords of the realm that unification of the various levies and companies within the Kingdom would help in the war against the Kingdom of Courland.

Count Eric of Metterden was chosen by King Marius to be General of the Army, and has been in command since the Army's formation.

Alongside the Captain shall be two Ensigns, each of which are commissioned by the Captain. All the enlisted men of the vassals shall be grouped beneath a captain and his regiment, ensuring that the chain of command is kept.
