Biography

Born as the second son of Emperor Augustus I, Romulus lived a childhood fitting of any prince, ridden with both political, combat and academic training to a high level. After reaching the age of ten, he was squired underneath the current serving Grand Knight, Dame Sophia Halcourt. This was the first instance of an Imperial prince being a squire beneath a woman. He also took the position of Minister of Foreign affairs at an early age, partaking in peace agreements with various nations of Arcas.

At the age of 11, his mother Empress Helen arranged a betrothal to that of princess Anabel of Curonia, the pair having been close friends throughout the entirety of their childhood. They wed three years later within the Helena Cathedral, a grand celebration following by citizens of the Empire and Curonia alike.

Upon his father Augustus’ abdication, Romulus was bestowed the titular Duchy of Cascadia.

Romulus' firstborn son later went on to be crowned as Emperor of the Empire of Renatus following the dawn of the Renatian-Orenian War.

Dissolution of Horen

Following the dissolution of House Horen as decreed by His Imperial Majesty, Godfrey II, in 1721 Romulus was no longer regarded as a Horen, taking on the family name of Cascadia in its place.

Following his second son Achilius' abdication, Romulus perished within one of the throne room skirmishes.
