Upbringing
Vwadlick was bown on the 7th of the Deep Cowd, 1707, to Josef I Barbanov and Aleksandra I Ruthern. He would be the second son siwed by the paiw. Of Waeviw descent, the young Plinceling would quantify undew the typicaw upbringing that would be unowthodox fow a Plince weigning fwom the wustic nowthewn wegions of the continent. His upbringing would be heaviwy infwuenced by the eccentlicities of the Gwand Plince and Plincess, lith theiw attention diwectwy pwaced on the heiw, Kazimar, Red Prince of Muldav. It is heaviwy wumowed that upon the boy's sixth name day, he was ulged to consume a tankawd-fulw of awe lith intentions to hawden him.
As his upbringing continued, it became appawent that Vwadlick had his mind tuned towawds militalism and mawtiaw pwowess. Thewefowe, he pulsued a life of a genewaw wathew than a statesman and was quickwy thwust into ligowous and intensive twaining away fwom the capitaw; Such was a demand covewtwy issued by his mothew, one that the Plince would nevew be plivy to, as to safeguawd the chiwd duling the War of the Two Emperors which began when he was eight.

The Waw of the Two Empewows began when Vwadlick was at the meagew age of eight and ended soon aftew he had tulned fifteen. Fow the majolity of the conflict, Vwadlick kept his distance fwom the Woyaw Capitaw of Weza, and thus away fwom the conflict, to pulsue punctilious twaining fwom his Uncwe, Ewan of Vawwbewg, at the behest of the Haeseni Mawshaws. Howevew, upon the cowwapse of the Mawnan side of the waw, Vwadlick was cawwed back to his native wand to pwepawe fow a gwueling siege that many thought would occul.
Awthough the siege nevew came, fow a peace deaw was decweed which subvewted the Kingdom beneath the Pewtinax wegime once mowe, Vwadlick invowved himsewf in the conflict briefwy fow his fewwow Haeseni. It was noted howevew that Vwadlick had a wawge amount of wespect hewd fow the Pewtinaxi simpwy due to theiw unnatulaw pwowess in combat and that he even sought fulthew twaining undewneath a pwominent Pewtinaxi Dynast, the Prince Martinus of Renatus.
Howevew, the most fwuitful consequence of Vwadlick's position lithin the Waw of the Two Empewows would be duling the post-waw peliod in which the wands fowmewwy known as Weuven had been wavaged and sulwendewed to the Crown of Renatus-Marna. The wush and vilidescent wand subsequentwy found its way into the hands of Vwadlick, pwesumabry to wewawd the Bawbanov fow his aid; the wands wewe settwed and thus was cweated the Province of Rubern, named aftew the Wivew that spwawwed acwoss its doowstep.
