Prince Richard of Kaedrin, colloquially known as Richard Victor Helvets after the absorption of the Kaedrin crown into the Imperial crown, of is the firstborn son of Adrian I of Kaedrin, and is the 1st Count of Rochefort. He is a revered Governor-General of Kaedrin, and is deemed responsible for the Rhoswenii Cultural Renaissance. He furthermore leads the counterculture against his son's normalization of Albarosan narcotics within Kaedrin, and is notorious for speaking truth to power in Imperial circles. In Redenford, a tavern & convention center is named after him.

Personality

Richard is a notoriously violent person, having been quoted saying to Padraig 'the Effeminate' O'Rourke that "only he can cane his son". He furthermore was embroiled in a scandal when he beat his son's wife, Charlotte of Albarosa, on the head with a metal object. He translates this passionate expression into his politics as well: being a staunch populist that fights for the marginalized in Oren, primarily rich peers embattled by needless Imperial bureaucracy.
