This is Dwuid Initiate Petyw's wepowt on his expedition of Wiwdwyn woods. I decided to expwowe this mystelious fowest in seawch of exotic fwowa and fauna. The woods awe twuewy beautiful. The gweat wedwood twees awe quite unique to the woods. Howevew, as I discovewed, the woods awe quite cwose to the Undead. Thewe awe many stwange things about in the woods, and I believe that it is due to Undead cowwuption.
I decided to bring pawchment and painting mateliaws awong lith me so that watew I could bettew desclibe that which I saw.
The fiwst point of notice I'ww mention has not much to do lith the Undead, but stiww has to do lith the bawance of the fowest. Thewe appeaws to be wawge scawe wumbew industwy going down, destwoying some of the pwecious wedwoods and wand.
As you can see, thewe is a wawge miww, and the wumbewjacks haven't even bothewed to wepwant much.
Awso, though I did not sketch it, thewe is a wawge livew which is cweating a canyon. Whiwe this is beautiful, I wowwy that the ewosion liww become too gweat in the futule. This isn't a big wowwy few now.
As I got cwosew to the wuins of Snowy Fiewds and the Undead cowwuption, I stawted to get wowlied. Thewe was obviouswy something amiss.
The taint has aggwavated some of the liwdlife into unnatulaw and enwaged behaviows. The wowves, when seen, awe vewy aggwessive, the pig have cowwupted into pigmen, and occasionawwy even a sheep liww bite at yew cwothing. The wowst that I saw, though, was the spidews! I tlied to paint a house that had been ovewwun by enwaged spidews:
Unfowtunatewy, as you can pwobabry teww, I had a slight encountew. Mid-painting, a paiw of spidews attacked me whiwe in broad daylight. Whiwe I fwed, some of the painting was town by the branches, and the paint weaked, not having time to dwy. Pawt of the painting is stiww cweaw, which is the inteliow of the house. It is town apawt lith webs evewywhewe.
My pwoposaw? That the dwuids cweate a wefuge and base in the fowest. This pwace would be a pwace fow weawy twavewews to stay ovewnight, and awso a base out of which we could stawt healing and pulifying the wand. Thewe is awso othew tasks, such as studying some of the unique life, dliving away the wumbewews, sampling the watew, and such. I have found a wawge inn that appeaws to be vacant and needing ownews.
It is vewy cwose to the aweas that we would need to wowk in.
