Remember Lenfarthing

A very sad song about the great town of Lenfarthing. Maybe not great. The 'OK' town of Lenfarthing.

Sow the seeds, pluck the weeds!

Bake the bread, brew the mead!

Lenfarthing! Lenfarthing!

Who remembers the Lenfarthing!?,

Warm as a hearth, pretty as a maid!

Who remembers the Lenfarthing?

One sad day, with skies o’grey!

Dancing along on our merry way!

But a good day it t’wasn’t meant to be,

So carefully, carefully be on your guard!

For the angry Scourge are coming to play!

Bravely those of the Lenfarthing stood!

Waving their buckets, shovels, sticks and tools!

The Lenfarthing was not so merry on that day,

We worked all together, together as one!

But alas our efforts were all for none,

The Lenfarthing fell, and so did our homes,

But the Halflings are the merriest of folk!

The Ale ship floated away, stowed away the remaining brave

And Gamle Irongut kept the spells at bay,

But alas our our efforts were all for none,

And we were forced to sail away.

The Lenfarthing fell but our spirits remain!

You can’t take the fight from inside our frame!

Rebuilt and renewed we get on with it all,

For the Halflings are the hardiest of all!
