Philippa Ilena (7th of Deep Cold, 1896), first born to Margravine Guinevere I of Velen and her first husband Harald Ragnarsson and rightful heir to the Margraviate of Velen. While she may have spent much of her time in childhood prior to her inheritance away from her homelands, she is beloved by the people of Velen as the jewel of their governing family.
Early Life
Born the 7th of The Deep Cold, 1896, to Margravine Guinevere I and Lord consort Harald av Velen, Philippa was the first Reuss of her generation, and thus her mother's heir. Due to her elevated status among even her own siblings Philippa was doted as a child and would often get into spats with her younger brother, Hadrian, over his assumed jealousy. At the peak of her eleventh year Philippa was sent away from her castle in Velen to live at the newly renovated capital city of Aaun, New Vienne, under the wardship of Princess Anna Alstion. Thus much of her early childhood was spent traveling the main Aaunic cities as a companion to the diplomatic Princess where she developed many similar mannerisms to her new close confidant.
The Countess of Revedin
On her fourteenth name day Philippa was invested as her mother's heir and the Countess of Revedin at a traditional Velenic Kinderfeste [1]. This marked the beginning of her ascension to one day be Margravine of Velen, though as it was assumed she would return to her home at Velen, Philippa planned to remain in the city as she'd grown fond to life in the capital. She became something of a socialite within the Aaunic courts, while she didn't host many events or take up roles of her own she made quick friends with those who did- granting her access to many exclusive communities established in New Vienne.
