Pendlemere

History

Founded in the year of 1613, in the Isles of Axios - Pendlemere is one of the current halfling villages that extend their hospitality to all halflings alike. A few people within the halfling playerbase joined together to create a hopefully more successful, and active roleplay hub. They were in a need of land to build their village on, of course, therefore; they sought out Lorraine, which opened their arms wide to them and gave them a small piece of land just northwest of their Capital, Metz.

Location events

Pendlemere has festivals from time-to-time, where they invite not only halflings but anyone who chooses to attend. They have things from pie eating contests, to just hanging around the lake and drinking, playing darts, or smoking.

Geography

The village currently sits just northwest of Lorraine, as of the in-game date 1629.

Government

Currently, Pendlemere doesn't have a single leader, but instead, they have sheriffs, deputies, and elders. Three elders run the village and maintain all of its events, elections are held for all three positions. Currently, the village only has one elder that leads the village, but elections will be held to elect two other citizens into the position. There's traditionally one sheriff and one deputy.
