In 1937 she would wed the Count of Stassion, Richard Novellen and take up the role of His Countess-Consort. After her father-in-law planned and successfully killed the boy king of aaun, Ottavia helped her husband raise stassion from a march to a principality once it gained it's independent and her and Richard both took their places as co-rulers of stassion.

Early Life

Ottavia Kasimira Sarkozic was born in the early days of the short Spring season, within the Vibrant capital of Atrus, to her Father Kasimir Sarkozic and his wife, Nicoletta Septimia. Born the second daughter to the then Lord Kasimir, Ottavia had very much lived in her older sister's shadow. In her Infancy, Ottavia’s maternal grandfather, Sigismond Varoche had published a missive, in which the then Duke of Adria was accused of an extensive list of Crimes, A year later was he captured and murdered within the City of Velec, Alongside his eldest son.

In her Youth, Ottavia grew up within the newly reformed courts of Balian, where her Mother served under the Governess, Princess Augustina. Being one of the eldest daughters she was pushed into the education that was provided within the Courts of Monterosa, However instead of learning things that was expected of a girl within her families ranks, Ottavia did the opposite. Ottavia as a child was mentioned to be impertinent, disobedient and discourteous, to not only her siblings, but she often felt compelled to start fights, gossip and spread rumors about the other children within Atrus.

While Ottavia's older sister was excelling in her studies and fast tracking her way to a proper lady of the Monterosan Courts, Ottavia at twelve continued her disobedience. It was in this same year that her Nicoletta's stepmother had become the Abbess of the newly reformed saint Judes and not long after, Ottavia's Parents and her Paternal Grandfather had decided that her delinquency was far to much for them to handle alone, sending her to reside with her Maternal Grandfather's Widow within the holy see. Growing up under the care of the Reverend Mother, Ottavia had no choice but to submit to her education, being disciplined in the ways of a true young woman as well as being educated in Flexio and Philosophy. However, due to the fast tracking conflicts with Adria, Ottavia took an interest in Politics as well.

Return to Balian

Following the death of her Grandfather, Franz Sarkozic, Ottavia had finally been summoned home by her family. Her father now the Viscount of Pompourelia and her mother the new Governess of the Monterosan courts, the now Young lady was finally allowed to represent her family within the court society. Ottavia quickly become known in around the capital for her quick witted nature, Her love for fashion and her surprisingly good manners. She quickly befriended the Ladies of Ba'as, known as a close friend of Princess Samira and a confidante to the Queen, Andromeda of Ba'as.

Marriage and Family

In the year of 1937, Not long after her return to the Kingdom of Balian. Ottavia's Mother would arrange a match between her and the first born son to the King of Oren, Richard Leonus. Despite her early reluctance, She soon grew fond of him after learning they share a love for both travelling and politics. Soon after, she would travel to petra often to meet with the Count of Stassion. Later on in the year, The Prince Richard and Lady Ottavia eventually got engaged despite her families accidental ruining of the surprise. The Ceremony itself was quite small, taking place within the Wayfaring grotto under the traditional customs of Owynism. Ottavia did not have a bridal party accompanying her as the ceremony was quite simple.

As soon as the Wedding plans were over, Ottavia quickly began planning a Grand feast in celebration of the counties Completion which was known to be a huge success and where the new Countess' began her newfound hobby. Not long after in the year of 1938, Ottavia would give birth to her first child, Aurelia after nearly three days of Labor. Again in the Year of 1939, Ottavia gave birth to her firstborn son and heir. Her husband Richard and her, christened him with the name, Richard Octavian, In honor of both of them.

The Princess over the next few years of her life gave birth to 3 more daughters but it wasn't until 1950, when her daughter Cordelia was born that she experienced complications in her pregnancy. Ottavia and the baby both fell deathly ill after succumbing to a postpartum illness, The entire Margraviate would begin to worry that both the Princess-consort and her newborn would pass and quickly began searching for a doctor. A Cardinal by the name of Stanislaw heard of the worries and of her highness's illness and quickly rushed to Stassion. Upon his leave, did Ottavia and Cordelia act as if nothing was wrong and some of the citizens quickly began to speak of a miracle.
