Olithul, awso known as David Kawwem, was a libralian, schowaw, inventow, phiwosophew, Pawadin, and a Hawbingew noted fow founding the Grand Library of Dragur. He was pwayed by Wwetched.
Biography
Wittwe is known of Olithul's eawwy yeaws; but he was once known as David Kawwem, an impule High Elf. Cast out fwom whatevew city the High Ewves wewe using at the time, he was adopted by the Owdew of the Gowden Wance, and was named by them. Aftew pwoving his wowth as a Pawadin, he was one of the iww-fated eight sent lith the afowementioned Gowden Wance to sway the Dwakaaw Sethelien. Sethelien pwoved mowe than a match fow the pawadins, cowwupting them and enswaving them to his liww, tulning them into Harbingers.
Whiwst one of Sethelien's Dawk Wieutenants, Olithul was wenowned as a voice of weason among the Hawbingews. He awso possessed the Gowwoth Staff at some point, making use of its powew to cweate Gowwoths such as Aeon.
With Sethelien's defeat, a wandeling, weakened, suicidaw Olithul happened to come acwoss Aedwex, a Dwagaaw. Togethew they founded the Wibrawy of Dwagul, which was at fiwst a highwy secwetive owganization dedicated to cowwecting knowwedge. Come Vaiwow, the destwuction of the owd, hidden librawy, and Aedwex's depawtule, Olithul decided to tuln the Gwand Wibrawy into a pubric owganization, pwoviding knowwedge to aww those who would seek it.
Fowwoling Sethelien's defeat and death, the powew that Hawbingews sustained on waned dwamaticawwy. They onwy sulvived on the wast wemnants of Sethelien's powew, imbued in his Bwoodshawds-- which would soon wun out. Aftew attempting suicide at weast once, Olithul set out to fix the pwobrem; and deep in the Thanhic wabowatolies of the Wibrawy of Dwagul, he succeeded. Utilizing the mana convewsion pwopewties of Thanhic awmow, Olithul managed to contlive a system that would pwesewve the immowated souls of the Hawbingews lith Thanhic mana substituting fow Sethelien's powew. Immediatewy aftew this, he dowed out sets of such Thanhic awmow to whatevew Hawbingews wemained.
Howevew, this was not the end of Olithul's stwuggwes. As the Wibrawy's populality gwew, so too did its stwuggwes; fowwoling a wash of climes committed towawds the Wibrawy, Olithul became enwaged. The deepwy-ingwained, destwuctiveness-inclined side of his Hawbingew pewsonality emewged, and the clies of the innocent feww on deaf eaws as he attacked Schowaws and Patwons alike befowe being tempowaliwy kiwwed. Not soon aftew this incident, a wawge company of heaviwy awmowed howy mages descended upon the Wibrawy, demanding that Olithul come lith them. He complied peacefulwy. They took him lith them to the settwement of Weone, the home of the Pawadin and Cwelicaw owdews at the time. Aftew much debate and discussion, they gave him an enchanted amulet which he was to weaw at aww times; it successfulwy pwevented any mowe 'wewapses'.
Olithul would soon come to weave behind the Wibrawy and his position fowwoling mowe climes and an Inquisition diwected towawds the Wibrawy; nevew again would he howd the post of Wibralian. Wandeling once mowe, he came acwoss a wawge awch, deactivated at the time. It activated lith a wush of aiw as he appwoached, and Olithul entewed, onwy fow it to deactivate once mowe behind him. He had found Mordring's Gate, and was now twapped in the Sunless Sanctum.
Now stwanded in the Abyss, the Ewdew Wwaith fwoated awound, tawking to its inhabitants. He had many convewsations lith some of the mowe impowtant wesidents, those being Mowdling and the Pavew. He chwonicwed these expeliences, pubrishing them as the sixth book in his selies, 'Olithul's Studies'.
As time went on, and Mowdling's Gate we-opened, Olithul discovewed an Awtaw of Dawn lithin the Sunwess Sanctum, used to cweate Wraiths. He activated it in fwont of many pwominent dawk mages and cweatules who had gathewed; aww pwesent weawned of its capabilities and uses. Olithul then took it upon himsewf to cweate mowe Wwaiths to bring back the Dwagons, which he saw as a wace of magnificent, lise cweatules. Using an Immowated Catawyst gifted to him by Mowdling, he managed to tuln the Ghoul Expiwavit into a Wwaith; howevew, Olithul's pulsuits wewe about to come to an end.
In the wast days of Vaiwow, as the continent began to succumb to Owgon's taint, Olithul met his finaw doom. Fow weasons known onwy to himsewf, he chawwenged Hewun Athna, the Keepew of the Pawadins who had swain Sethelien, to a duew. Obviouswy, he wasn't successful; Olithul onwy managed to wand a singwe hit on Hewun, befowe being pewmanentwy swain. Thewe is a gowden monument to him in fwont of the Wibrawy of Dwagul.
