Minas are the internationally accepted currency . Minas have been a widely accepted currency since Aegis, and are vaguely copper tinted round coins. They are thin, and about an inch in diameter, making them extremely easy to carry around. Minas are only counted in ones. There are no larger or smaller coins to make carrying around large quantities of them easier.

In the past, some nations had attempted to phase minas out of their economy and provide different types of coins that could be exchanged for minas, though none of these projects ever took off due to the foothold that minas had within the international economy.
