Luciana Maria of House Napoliza (13th of Owyn's Flame, 1724–present) more commonly known as the duchess of orange, and sometimes as Luciana “the harlot”, is the founder and Matriach of house Napoliza who ruled the principality of Vitenna from 1761 untill 1773 when the principality got absorbed in to the Sultanate of Korvassa, and later ruled the duchy of Viamo under the holy orenian empire.

The woman was well respected in the Korvassa as leader, but widely disliked for the many paramours she had, and for her edict that allowed her courtiers to have intercourse in public spaces such as salons and gardens, in addition she granted her paramours high positions in the palace of Vileux.

Early life

Luciana Maria of house Napoliza was born to Johannes Jrent better known as “The wyvern” and later as Janos Vilac and Julietta Maria Varoche, later known as Julietta maria of Napoliza on the 13th of Owyn’s flame, 1724 as Luciana Maria Vilac. She grew up in immense wealth at the imperial palace, being teached etiquette, diplomacy and architecture. The young pertinaxi was insanely spoiled by her mother which caused Luciana to be quite cruel and cunning. Due to the family’s incestuous past as the house of Horen, she suffered from Hemophilia.

Truth of Vilac

As Luciana grew older, the allowances her mother gave the young girl grew. Reaching it’s highest point at twenty-five thousand mina’s. Luciana’s behaviour had seen almost no change, which once got her in to a fight with the imperial highness Vespira Helane, calling the woman a “whore” after spotting her dress that did not cover the shoulders. Not long after her falling out with the woman, Luciana’s father Janos Vilac decided to support the Alliance of independed states in the Ruberni war alongside his brothers and married Luciana Maria Napoliza off to the count of Pestilles, Daniel de Alence.

the result of the marriage was one boy named Solomon de Alence. She resided in the barony of de Alence for six years, before fleeing back to the Holy Orenian Empire and getting her marriage anulled. thereafter she decided to claim herself as the true matriach of house Vilac, and took on her fathers unlanded title of Principality of Vilachia living in Helena alongside her mother and two siblings for ten years.

Imperial Court of 1761

The ignorant pertinaxi petitioned infront of his imperial majesty peter III while wearing a circlet, to settle in the sands of the korvassa as the first colony of the empire, requesting of his imperial majesty that she and her family may rule it as the governing family. The throne room swiftly grew uneasy as the vilac awaited her answer, to her own shock was her request denied, and she was called a baseborn pretender and the emperor ordered for the house of Vilac to be fined fifty thousand mina, and for the houses of Vilac and Varoche to be dissolved and stripped of their titles.

House of Napoliza

Devastated by the outcome of the imperial court session, the woman sat down in her room at Novellen palace, and wrote a letter to her mother that stated Luciana’s departure out of the empire, creating a new house, the house of Napoliza. The name is based on her mothers recently stripped title as baronetess of Napoliza. With the founding of House Napoliza, Luciana Maria moved to the korvassa desert where she founded the coastal principality of Vitenna, thus styling herself as her serene highness, Luciana I Maria Napoliza of Vitenna, duchess of Fonsi and Baroness of Vileux. Alongside her mother, sister and brother they moved to their new land.

Azdromoth

Not long after moving out of the empire, Luciana got kidnapped by Azdrazi because of her dragonblood, which they needed in a ritual to summon Azdromoth. Still being the mean and cunning woman she turned out to be, she resisted with sassy words and ill words about their god. Her behaviour changed after they managed to summon him as a cloud, making her one of the few humans to ever meet and speak to Azdromoth. As a result of Luciana’s bad behaviour, Azdromoth branded a sigil on the back of her head: an ornate kinda nordic crown spiraling about her head with a pair of dragons rising up at the forehead where a marked place for a gem should be held.

The sigil caused the Vitennian princess immense pain when speaking out of term or in a ill manner. The result of this was the slow change of behaviour of Luciana, as she became more and more kind and warm, making her the woman she is today.

The court of Vileux

As her principality grew, so did court life. Luciana appointed her daughter in law, Sapphira Loretta as grand lady of the palace whom formed several documents regarding the rules in the princely court. As Luciana started to age, her desire for men grew. Her desire grew so big that she even had paramours pleasing her while she was writing documents, doing state visits and court sessions. Rumours about this started to spread, which the princess reacted to by allowing her courtiers to have public intimacy everywhere and by promoting her paramours to higher court positions. This gave her the nickname of Luciana “The harlot”.
