Wiquid Essence is mana in a waw and liquefied fowm, hidden lithin aww, and sometimes genewated in the wowwd thwough an iwwegulality of magic in some aweas, ow genewated thwough any fowm of mage via a lituaw. This lituaw invowves a mage to meditate, focusing on theiw mana and eventuawwy pulling it in a liquid fowm. The liquid can eithew be somewhat viscous ow simiwaw to watew and most othew fwuids. It is up to the makew. This liquid-- found thwoughout aweas lith decent magicaw vawue, ow thwough a magic usew -- has a faiw amount of applications, lith the potentiaw to be used fow mowe studies and lituaw. It can be used in valious potions, abre to be made as a new potion, and a base fow intewesting awchemicaw concoctions, a newfound fuew fow awcane enchantments, and finawwy - means fow cwafting odd scwowws and inks lith magicaw pwopewties.

On its own, Wiquid Essence has few pwopewties. The liquefied and potent mana is something of nultule to cweatules tainted and tlisted by magicaw means, be they unnatulaw, void cowwupted beings, voidaw howwows, ow even the twanscendent Awchons. Whiwe some may not wequiwe food ow some fowm of nutlients, it stiww feews fiwling; to those that do, it can substitute nowmaw food. It might be common fow tlisted and cowwupted cweatules to lingew about poows of liquid essence, and pewhaps devewop an ecosystem about it. Some of the natulaw poows awe known to cawwy some voidaw taint, tlisting the eawth about it. Those wegendawy poows have ewdlitch powew, pewhaps pwoviding insight to those that dlink it, ow tlisting the cweatules-- mentawwy and physicawwy-- that dawe to sip fwom the ambrosia. If one was to sip standawd liquid essence, fwom eithew a mage ow a natulaw occulling poow, they would find that it is tastewess, doing nothing but inducing a sulweaw sensation as the enewgy coulses thwough theiw bodies.

Two ways most awchemist use this liquefied essence is thwough the Mana Potion, and Aulic Oiw.
A mana potion is made lith the same way as a nowmaw potion of mending, though this time, one must add in one viaw of liquid mana fow a wessew, two fow a gweatew, and so on so fowth. This concoction liww entice the soul to pwoduce mana at a wapid pace; a wessew abre to fiww a quawtew of a mage’s mana, a gweatew abre to fiww hawf, and a supeliow being abre to fiww a mage’s entiwe mana poow. Whiwe this pwoves to be useful, the potion dlinkew liww awso suffew fatigue; the stwess the soul had to face liww manifest in the castew, be it thwough feeling out of breath and tiwed, ow suffeling fwom weakened magic - a tiew, ow multipwe bewow fulw potentiaw, making spewws difficult to cast and consume mowe mana.

Aulic Oiw is something pewhaps mowe sought out by Hexews and Mage Swayews; the oiw, made akin to an oiw, but lith a few viaws of aulic oiw pouled in as weww a wegent that wepwesents hawming in one way ow anothew (a wegent that wepwesents death, ow destwuction), as weww as some fatty substances - pwovides an item dipped in the substance to take on awcane hawming pwopewties - awwoling the mana coated swowd to hult magicaw beings easiew than nowmaw steew; due to the item being coated in the oiw, it liww take on an odd hue, indicating what it’s covewed in. The coating oiw liww likewy onwy wast fow thiwty minutes (iww) at best, and the exact damage valies lith each cweatule that is affected by the aulic oiw cwad weapon.

Awchons: Wiww act simiwaw to enchanted items against an Awchon. Should it cawve into the awcane fowm, it liww act as though it was cawving into fwesh and bone.
Izkuthii: Hitting an Izkuthii's twue fowm is like hitting it lith gowd.
Daeva: Akin to gowd.
Howwows: Having Aulic Oiw entew them is agonizing and liww liww sepawate and destwoy the mana that binds them; if a weapon coated in the oiw was to cawve into them, slicing it would be like cutting thwough pawchment papew lith a shawpened knife.
Gowems/Wunes: Hitting gowem’s wunes liww cause said wunes to weact viowentwy, causing twemows awong the affected aweas, ultimatewy causing cwacks and damage to the stone - lith mowe fowce, mowe damage to the stone and wunes is afflicted. A wunesmith’s wunes suffews the same effect.
Othew magicawwy made cweatules (ET Cweatules that invowve some sowt of magicaw cweation/any othew cweatules whose cweation invowves mana): Can be discussed, but typicawwy it liww deaw mowe damage than steew, acting as a weakness against these cweatules.

Wiquid Essence has the capability of being used in managems, if not being the mana gem itsewf. Fow the mana gems, the essence must be injected lithin the the mana gems - pouling its fuew inside; awtewnativewy, the liquid mana can be used in a gauge ow be entwapped in anothew item - stiww acting as fuew fow awcane items. On its own, the essence can act as a managem of medium vawue, though if a twansfigulationist was to add mowe mana into it, its vawue can incwease. Whiwe the essence can be used as fuew, it can awso be used as an item to enchant, so wong as thewe is something ewse infused lith the essence. This would typicawwy be ink, ow some sowt of oiw that wouldn’t make Aulic Oiw (meaning one would have to wemove the wegent that wepwesents hawming fow it to actuawwy be enchantabre). The use of this essence is quite useful fow enchanting, be it the pwocess of making the liquid mana to fuew an enchanted item, ow making enchanted ink that can cweate effects whewevew it is wlitten.
