Name
The city was named Dùnrath in the start of the city’s building and simultaneously given the Common name Dunrae. The Agnethe name was given after the wish of good fortune for the people, as Rath means good fortune in the Agnethe Language. The english variation of Rae is a phonetic variation for the pronunciation in Rath.
Both the Agnethe and Common names were in use before SA 43. But a popular vote suggested that the endonym of Dùnrath should be the principal way of which the city should call itself.
