The Viscount asked his long time friend Hogo Bojo to write the blueprints for the cities restoration and renovation. So together Ivan and Hogo started the restoration and renovation of the city. This was a long and grueling task which took many years. The end result was a beautiful city with many houses, shops, a keep and a chapel stood atop the hill which overlooked the city. (WIP) |

The House of Ruthern-Batavus was a cadet house of House Ruthern, and a vassal of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. The House was the ruling house of the Viscounty of Batavia.
History
The house came into existence when Ivan Ruthern alongside a few of his friends stormed into the lands west of Oren known as Brunswick. They defeated many foes there and when the battle was done, they had couped the lands. Once Andrew IV, King of Hanseti-Ruska heard of Ivan's deeds he was bestowed the title Viscount of Batavia, and the lands were vassalized under Haense. This lead to the creation of his cadet-house Ruthern-Batavus. The city was destroyed from the battle to restoration efforts began immediately. - Alfred Batavus, first born who went on to join the Church of Canon thus giving ups his claim to the title.
