The House of Pasquier (Common: Pasquier; High Imperial: Pascius) is the current ruling family of the Barony of Laval and vassal of the Kingdom of Haense.

House Pasquier was created as a cadet branch of House Fournier when Ser Aymer moved to Courland to try and become a Count. Aleksandr Staunton gave him the title Count of Rouen, while Hughes (now Pasquier) stayed in Savoy to regent their previous holding, the Barony of Riveryn. The then Emperor John II denounced Aymer as a count, and tensions rose between House Fournier and Pasquier. Aymer had already abdicated from Riveryn but Hughes was afraid he'd try to take it back.

Aymer was made Marshal of Courland's forces, and Courland itself seemed as if it might rebel soon. Hughes saw this as an opprutunity, and quickly went to Petyr Barbanov, who was in control of the Gold Corps. He asked for help in assassinating Aymer, to which they agreed. Aymer was then lured into Castle Bourigard (Riveryn's Keep) where four gold corps members hid upstairs. When Aymer was settled and sitting, they ran down with loaded crossbows to trap him. He was then killed. This seemed to mark the end of House Fournier.

House Pasquier moved from Savoy to the newly formed Kingdom of Haense to be under Hughes' nephew, Eirik Baruch. Together they worked to elevate Eirik to a count, and Hughes a baron again. After years of work, Eirik was elevated to Count of Ayr by Andrew II and Hughes was ennobled by John III and given the title, Baron of Laval.
