The House of Buckfort was founded by William Buckfort within the Commonwealth of Sutica following the Third Coup of Sutica. As a result of the Coup, the Buckforts were granted nobility by the new Barclay monarch and were granted the County of Sarissa in exchange for their loyalty, thusly making them nobility. They were briefly a royal family when they formed the Kingdom of Rozania, though later became nobles again after changing the Kingdom to a Duchy following Oisin's Rebellion.

Heads of House Buckfort

The Buckforts follow Enatic-Cognatic Primogeniture, with the eldest male child of the Head being the heir to the lands and titles of their father. In the absence of children, the titles pass to the Siblings or Cousins of the current Head.
