Clan de Astrea is the ruling family of the Duchy of Elysium. Founded as a cadet branch of House Ashford de Savoie on the Axiosian Kingdom of Oren the current clan traveled to the Kingdom of Norland as the Holy Orenian Empire threatened to eradicate the whole of the family. Eventually, when the threat from the Holy Orenian Empire was lessened, and under the leadership of Eugeo de Astrea, the family and their followers established an independent Duchy of Elysium, leaving the Kingdom of Norland.
