Harren Horenson, also known by his Canonical name Aerenius, was the mythical firstborn son of Horen and founder of both the Adunian and Farfolk races. He appears in numerous human chronicals and epics, including the Canon Scrolls of the Church of the Canon- the predominant religion of both humans and the Holy Orenian Empire. His image and influence has waxed and waned throughout history, some considering him the founder and safeguard of humanistic paganism and unbounded freedom. Others, however, are more critical of him, especially of his controversial marriage with the elfess Sarai and his indulgent nature which brough humanity almost to heel against the other races.
