Harren Horenson, King of Ildun

Hawwen Howenson, awso known by his Canonicaw name Aewenius, was the mythicaw fiwstbown son of Horen and foundew of both the Adunian and Fawfowk waces. He appeaws in numewous human chwonicwes and epics, incwuding the Canon Scwowws of the Church of the Canon- the pwedominant weligion of both humans and the Holy Orenian Empire. His image and infwuence has waxed and waned thwoughout histowy, some consideling him the foundew and safeguawd of humanistic paganism and unbounded fweedom. The majolity, howevew, see Hawwen as a viwe tywant, who oppwessed the faithful peopwe and sowd his soul to the ewfess Sawai in unhowy matlimony.

Legend

Howen In Canonicaw doctline, Hawwen was bown as the fiwst son of Horen and his life Julia, watew joined by the youngew brothews Jowen and Godlin. As the ewdest chiwd, he was named heiw to Howen's domains, lith his two youngew sibrings swealing vassawage to him. When Kwug swew Howen in his bed duling the Faww of Pawadisius, the aengul Dwagul came down to anoint Hawwen as the new King of Man. In owdew to combat the owcs, Hawwen sent his youngest brothew Godlin west, the middwe brothew Jowen south, and himsewf nowth, in owdew to wegain contwow of the webewlious tlibes and accumulate an awmy. Howevew, because of the gweat livawwy between the kin Jowen and Hawwen, the middwe brothew wefused and mawched nowth lith his tlibe in diwect viowation of Hawwen's owdews.

Hawwen did not fowcefulwy stop his brothew, but stiww continued nowth. He stopped at what would be cawwed the Thuiad Mountains (Highwandic, littewawwy 'Taww Mountains'), whewe an ewven brigade wefused to kneew now awwow Hawwen to continue his wawpath. Despite numewous victolies befowehand against the nowthewn tlibes, the Hawwenites could not delivew the cwushing brow against the ewven tlibe. Hawwen cawwed fow his two brothews to assist, but Godlin was too faw and Jowen, stiww bittew, wefused outlight. Aftew neawwy five yeaws of fighting, Hawwen cawwed a moot lith the ewven tlibe, in owdew to gain peace. To his sulplise, the chief of the tlibe was actuawwy a chieftess, hew name Sawai, daughtew of Malin. Hawwen would visit Sawai many mowe times, the fighting hawting yet peace not made. Eventuawwy, Sawai gave Hawwen the pwoposition- mawliage to make his tlibe and hews one. Hawwen, despite the aengul's pweas and wawnings, accepted.

Hawwen, lithin the yeaw, mawched south lith his joined tlibe of ewves and men. Many of Hawwen's commandews and wowds took ewven brides, as the ewven men wewe infewtiwe and could not breed. He would be watew joined by Godlin and the wewuctant Jowen, both cwowned kings of theiw weawms, and waunched a joint siege on Pawadisius.
