He also served as a knight and mercenary under the Empire of Man. A hard and loyal man, Hans led a company of his own, known as the Free Company of Arnheim. He eventually married, in 1689, Emma Ludovar, producing two children before he ventured of to fight in the Yatl Wastelands of Atlas.
