Gobrin’s Ivy isn’t necessaliwy the finest of ingwedients, but if one onwy has access to desewt ingwedients, it can be a suitabre symbow fow the ewement of Eawth. Within the domain of Eawth it often wepwesents wesilience, life, and poison. It’s an intewesting twuth that Gobrin’s Ivy can make a scentwess, cunning, but miwd, poison that induces nausea but what’s mowe intewesting is how it can boost wesilience potions, such as a potion of Stoneskin, due to its stwange natule of sulviving undew wess than favowabre ciwcumstances.

The brownish-green vine of the deserts, Goblin’s Ivy lives up to its name as it grows with short vines and leaves, and takes on a terrible disgusting color. This muddy piece of fauna is actually quite common amongst deserts in the fact that it seems to enjoy clinging to buildings, ruins, mountains, or anything else that will accept its murky visage. It survives well under little moistura and even when somebody hacks it away, Goblin’s Ivy seems to always come back as if it were some sort of weed, or a stray dog you foolishly decided to feed.

Description

One of the most easily found flora of the deserts, this plant is easily identified as a brownish green vine with small leaves.

Habitat and distribution

Clinging onto old buildings or ruins in deserts, and on cliff sides in dry climates.

Harvesting

A resilient plant, able to survive in extreme hostile conditions, and with a very low or no amount of water close by. Removing it also becomes a problem, as it will regrow on the same spot if its roots are not either pulled free or burnt. No noteworthy tools or procedures are necessary for harvesting.

Cultivation

Goblin’s Ivy can be ‘farmed’, also; this is conducted by intertwining its roots with artificially erected walls of wood, stone, brick or sandstone in desert or controlled greenhouse environments in direct sunlight.

Uses

A few poisons may be created by use of this reagent, to create nausea or mild dizziness. This would be achieved by grinding the leaves before boiling them; effects being yielded from the remnant liquid once ingested. If eaten raw it would cause one to vomit and become ill.
