Those that come from far away exotic lands acquired the name of Farfolk. Normally quite different physically from the other humans, having different colored skin, darker most of the times, and that follow cultures that are quite different than their counterparts. Cultures such as that of the [[Qalasheen]], Subudai, or Rassid would coincide greatly with the Farfolk, and the lore correct Southerons and Easterners would as well.

Any human that is not of the Heartlands or the Highlands--which is to say, any human from a far-off or exotic land--is called colloquially a "Farfolk". As such, they have various different shades of hair, skin, and eyes, and have numerous sub-cultures relating to the lands they originally hailed.

Physical Attributes

Although Farfolk features vary more than any other kind of human, they are more typically darker-skinned than their pale Orennian cousins. Their hair color can range anywhere from the more typical black to a platinum blonde, and have a similar range of eye colors (blue, green, amber, hazel, and brown). Their physical construction varies wildly as well, with different facial and skeletal structures, cluing them from different regions of the world.

Other Attributes

Although Farfolk have the most genetic variation within their sub-type than any other racial sub-type, they are mentally and physically very similar to their Highlander and Heartlander cousins in abilities.

Aging

Farfolk, like all humans, can live to a maximum of 150 years, and mature at about age 18. They, like other humans, can show age gradually, or still appear fairly young until about 80 years of age, depending on genetics.

Curses

The curse of Farfolk is the same as all of Humanity: decreased lifespan. They make up for this by working hard and creating many progeny.

Professions

Sub-Race Perks
  • Troop Morale: Increased combat damage when near at least 4 other humans.
Race Profession
  • None. Instead, humans can advance any capped skill two-tier higher than usual if the cap isn't Inept.
Profession Boosts
  • Quick Learner: Humans receive a +5% XP for every skill
  • Make it count: Auto-aging humans receive an additional 10% XP for every Skill

Culture

The cultures vary widely from sub-culture to sub-culture, with completely different tribes and nations attributed to each. Ones you may see include the Qalasheen, Subudai, Rassid, Southerons and Easterners.

Art

Although there is much variation, the artwork of the Farfolk is more likely to be stylized according to the aesthetic values of their particular cultures.
