Eyvind Kvitravn II, known famously as Eyvind "Ironborn", was the secondborn son of former Chieftain Ragnar Halisson Kvitravn and the younger brother of Chieftain Dominic Kvitravn. Known for his martial prowess, he participated in several conflicts throughout his life and went on to reform the Brotherhood of the Flame. While some over the years have labeled him as "Bloodthirsty", others (especially of Clan Kvitravn itself) look up to him as a model warrior. Within his birth Clan, it is said that Eyvind resembles his great-uncle Caesar Kvitravn, who was also regarded as a proud warrior of the Clan while he was alive. He and his older brother Dominic were both essential in the Battle of Cartref Mor, as the pair were able to locate a breach in the Adunian defenses and storm the castle. For these actions during the war, and the alleged felling of over 50 Adunic rebels, he was called "The Hero of Cartref Morr." For his continued prowess in the name of Norland, he was made a Thagne of Norland by Balon Ruric.

In 138 S.A, Eyvind Kvitravn II fell as Urguani raiders, under the banner of Clan Frostbeard, breached the defenses of Talar'nor during the Norland-Urguan dispute. It is said that the Frostbeards treated him with high honor, and he fell in a duel against two unknown assailants.
