Elysium

Elysium is a former realm. It was inhabited following the abandonment of Asulon, after a series of natural disasters wracked the world. Elysium was notable for having several features. It was made up of a single landmass surrounded by ocean. Large deserts and tall mountains dominated the landscape, which was ruled by Ghasts and Zombie Pigmen during its nights. A volcano located near the center of the world frequently erupted, causing havoc amongst the surrounding settlements. Elysium is perhaps best remembered for having enormous flocks of chickens, so many that it was often impossible to walk without stepping on a bird. This caused a strange chicken plague which never infected mortal races, but lowered the number of chickens drastically.
